To stumble upon something new is a truly remarkable experience. And no, even though I would love to claim the discovery of a previously unknown ruins, or a long lost artefact at the bottom of the ocean, this time I will be taking about something a little bit more relatable and real. A type of discovery we all can make at any day—like becoming an awestruck by the visuals of a previous unknown destination, or realising an unexpected facet of a foreign culture, and even something as simple as falling in love with a newly found cuisine (...).

I’ve always been a fan of fantasy and fiction, drawn to the various inspiring worlds found in books, movies, and anime. And It’s always been fascinating to me how these fictional realms often draw inspiration from a real-life places, where reality is sometimes even more incredible than the fiction itself.
