Nicosia

Once every now and then, during one my journeys, I came across a town which feels as almost uninhabited. A literal ghost town. There is a lot of reasons for that. Some places only function during a particular seasons. Mainly summer of course, and are being left with only a minimum number of staff, to look after for the rest of the year.

Larnaca

When traveling to a new place, I usually try not to research too much beforehand. I like to be surprised and discover things on my own, even if it means facing som difficulties along the way. Of course, I do check whether it's safe or not, is there's internet access, and whether my credit card would be accepted or not. But everything else is just common knowledge, basic geography, or a bit of history. And honestly, 95% of the time, it's more than enough to get me through. However, there is the remaining 5% of course, which can sometimes add an interesting twist to your journey.
